About Yaz’s Table

Our main focus is being a scratch, farm to table, kitchen. We pickle our own garnishes and source out local, fresh ingredients. Patrons will enjoy American classics with a flavorful Mediterranean twist. And don’t forget about our fun Craft Cocktails!

“I called it Yaz's Table because the experience you get is just that, being at my table at home. I want to give my guests more than just a simple dining experience, I want them to feel welcomed coming in, trying foods that might surprise them with combinations of different flavors that they may not normally try. Food has always been fun for me. And who said that eating clean can’t be tasty?”

Yasmine made sure to include her background by adding a section on her menu dedicated to her mother, Maggie. “Momma Maggie's Corner” is the header of this section which includes her Mother’s homemade Egyptian Falafel, Tabbouleh, and Hummus. Yaz’s Table, a 50 seating Dining room, 25 seating Patio is excited to invite guests to a one of kind dining experience.

“I designed the menu in a way that anyone with almost any dietary restriction can find something on the menu that they can enjoy. I know going out to eat is never an easy task for some. I am personally gluten-free, my little sister is a Pescetarian one day and a vegetarian the next (sometimes I wish she would just make up her mind!) Most of the time, one of us usually has to settle to accommodate the other when it comes to going out to eat. Here at my table, we do our absolute best to make sure that no one has to settle! That’s the fun part of being a scratch kitchen, where almost everything we do is made from scratch! So if we can do it, we will!”

Yasmine is excited to give you a taste of her home at Yaz’s Table in her beloved Abington.

We accept reservations all day through weekdays, 8am-10am and 2pm-3pm during the weekends. You can also join our waitlist from the comfort of your own home! All parties are welcome and encouraged to lounge at our cafe right next door while waiting for a table or to grab a little sweet treat for later after brunch! The largest party we are able to accommodate due to the size of our restaurant is a party of 6.  During the warm season we offer patio seating as well.

We do hope that you get to join us at our table :)

About Yaz

After high school, Yasmine “Yaz” Zakhary had her sights set on joining the FBI. But while studying in college, she began waitressing at high-end restaurants like Tosca’s in Hingham and Raffael’s in Quincy—and everything changed. What started as a side job quickly revealed a deeper passion. Yaz discovered that hospitality wasn’t just about serving food but about creating moments, memories, and connection.

As she often says, “It wasn’t just about feeding people—it was about delivering happiness.”

Embracing this calling, Yaz dove headfirst into the restaurant world. She stepped into an Assistant General Manager role to help open The Tavern at Granite Links in Quincy, where she sharpened her leadership and operational skills. Soon after, she joined culinary legend Lydia Shire at Scampo in Boston’s Liberty Hotel.

“Working with the Queen of Cuisine herself brought my love and excitement for food to a whole new level,” Yaz recalls.

Her career continued to flourish. She managed the iconic Abe & Louie’s in Boston, served as the opening General Manager for Turner’s Yard in Pembroke—owned by Taniya Nayak, Tim Wakefield, Shawn Thornton, and Ken Casey of the Dropkick Murphys—and later held Director of Operations roles, helping launch multiple restaurants across Massachusetts.

Thirteen years and countless lessons later, Yaz returned to her hometown of Abington with a vision, a heart full of experience, and a dream of building something of her own. In March 2018, she opened Yaz’s Table.

More than just a restaurant, Yaz’s Table is an extension of her own kitchen—a place where guests feel like family. The menu celebrates scratch-made, locally sourced cuisine with a signature twist: American fare meets Egyptian soul. From house-pickled garnishes and locally sourced ingredients to “funcraft” cocktails, every detail reflects Yaz’s warmth, creativity, and roots.

A tribute to her Egyptian heritage shines in Momma Maggie’s Corner—a heartfelt homage to her mother, Maggie—featuring authentic dishes like homemade falafel, tabbouleh, and hummus.

In August 2023, Yaz expanded her vision with Yaz’s Table Boutique Café & Bakery, a cozy, inviting space offering Turkish coffee, decadent pastries, and reimagined breakfast favorites. Whether guests are meeting over coffee, catching up with friends, or simply finding a moment of peace, the café offers a space where comfort, culture, and connection come together.

And this is just the beginning. With her signature hot sauce line, Egyptian spice blends, and a boutique spa collection inspired by ancient recipes once used by Cleopatra, Yaz has already brought her heritage and creativity into homes far beyond the table. And with even more concepts in the works, she continues to expand her vision—one heartfelt experience at a time.
