Our Story
After high school, Yasmine “Yaz” Zakhary never imagined she’d own one of the South Shore’s most beloved restaurants. She once dreamed of joining the FBI—but a college waitressing job at fine-dining restaurants changed everything.
She discovered her calling wasn’t law enforcement—it was hospitality.
As Yaz puts it: “It wasn’t just about feeding people—it was about delivering happiness.”
Over the next 13 years, she managed and launched some of Massachusetts’ top restaurants, learning from legends like Lydia Shire and leading teams at Abe & Louie’s, Scampo, and Turner’s Yard. In 2018, Yaz came home to Abington to open Yaz’s Table, a warm, energetic brunch house celebrating scratch-made dishes with an American–Middle Eastern soul.
In 2023, she expanded her vision with Yaz’s Table Boutique Café & Bakery, a cozy space for coffee, pastry, and connection. Today, Yaz continues to grow her brand family—each concept rooted in love, flavor, and culture.
